Reaction: CPNEs bind PL
- in pathway: Glycerophospholipid biosynthesis
Copine 1, 3, 6 and 7 (CPNE1,3,6,7) are a family of calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins thought to be involved in membrane trafficking processes. They contain two C2 domains, one each for the Ca2+- and phospholipid-binding properties (Creutz et al. 1998, Tomsig & Creutz 2002).
