Reaction: SIRT5 deacetylates Cytochrome C

- in pathway: Transcriptional activation of mitochondrial biogenesis
Sirtuin 5 has been shown to deacetylate Cytochrome C in the the mitochondrial intermembrane space (Schlicker et al. 2008). The functional significance of this is unknown (Bao & Sack 2010).
Reaction - small molecule participants:
NAM [mitochondrial intermembrane space]
2'-O-acetyl-ADP-ribose [mitochondrial intermembrane space]
