Reaction: dUDP or TDP + ADP <=> dUMP or TMP + ATP [DTYMK]
- in pathway: Interconversion of nucleotide di- and triphosphates
Cytosolic deoxythymidylate kinase (DTYMK) catalyzes the reversible reaction of either dUDP or TDP with ADP to form dUMP or TMP. The active form of the enzyme is a homodimer (Lee and Cheng 1977).
