Reaction: Eis acetylates DUSP16
- in pathway: Suppression of autophagy
Mtb N-acetyltransferase Eis (Eis) acts as an N-acetyltransferase to acetylate lysine at coordinate 55 within the docking domain of the human dual specificity protein phosphatase 16 (DUSP16). This acetylation significantly down-regulates the phosphorylation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) (Kim et al. 2012).
