ARHEF1 (p115-RhoGEF), recruited to the plasma membrane by binding to GTP-bound G-protein alpha (13) (GNA13), stimulates GDP to GTP exchange on RHOA, resulting in activation of the RHOA GTPase (Chen et al. 2012).
